Men’s Health & Wellbeing
The importance of Men’s Health & Wellbeing
I support men through education, dietary and lifestyle support, herbal and nutritional supplementation for common conditions such as abdominal obesity, high cholesterol, prediabetes, prostate health, and reducing the risks of cardiovascular diseases. This is particularly important when it runs in families. I support men in improving health outcomes in these areas.
Digestive issues is also a huge area. From inflammatory bowel disease, constipation, bloating, diverticulitis, reflux and more – gut issues impact so many areas of health such as energy, mood, quality of life, sleep and the list goes on. Other specific health conditions requiring support can revolve around prostate health, liver health and gout.
Chronic fatigue, lack of mental performance and burn out are also common symptoms with men in this demanding and modern world in which we live, and I am passionate about supporting men in reclaiming their mojo for life so day to day activities can be completed with vigour.
A holistic approach to Men’s Health & Wellbeing
I work with many men in my clinic. In years gone by, naturopathic medicine and a more natural and holistic focus on health & wellbeing seemed to attract more females, however more and more men are reaching out for this type of support. I provide confidential support to men dealing with a range of conditions and symptoms across different age brackets.
This is often strategically supporting men with high performance careers combined with high demands in other areas of their lives to ensure restorative sleep is achieved, daytime calm energy and mood is consistent, and stress & anxiety is managed well.
